A new gym for Shaw

Shaw and Crompton Liberal Democrats are campaigning to get a new gym in Shaw, to create a Health and Wellbeing Hub for the town, formed with the Lifelong Learning Centre, and the Health Centre which is under construction.

Oldham's Labour Council closed Shaw baths in 2014; after previously promising that the baths would not close until a replacement was ready. Since then, the site was allocated for the new health centre, a long-time commitment of the local Liberal Democrats which is now being delivered.
